When I was working on Countdown 2003-2007 I captured different time tracks; in my diary, in sketches, excerpts from newspapers and other media and then brought them all together on a randomly imprinted piece of fabric created in Morocco, early spring in 2003, when we all were worrying about the outbreak of war in Iraq. I do not solve the problems of the world with my stitches - but I somewhat comfort my mind as its worries is being transformed into creativity.
